Book your class for our new STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Lab! This space will be used to implement core science, technology, engineering, and mathematics initiatives, while also promoting the history, art and culture of our region.
These are engaging and excellent learning opportunities for all ages and grades as we utilize our collection to bring your curriculum to life! This interactive and inquiry-based space can be used for anything from a science lesson on wind energy, to an art lesson on color theory, and everything in between. Our education team will tailor the experience to meet your students’ needs and fulfill your learning objectives!
We offer an abundance of TEKS based projects such as:
- Designing roller coasters - (Force, Motion, and Energy: 5.6D, 3.6B)
- Plant water filtration experiments- (Organisms and Environments: 3.9A, 3.10C)
- Heating and cooling experiments - (Matter and Energy: 1.5B)
- And many more!
Bookings last approximately 45 minutes and can be combined with museum gallery tour and WTAMU tours!
Cost is $3 per student and chaperones are free! Those schools who sign a contract with PPHM like Canyon ISD or Nazareth ISD receive free admission all year.
