Reception at 6:00pm, Speaker at 6:30pm. Hear from expert Amy Von Lintel as she discusses famed southwest artist Georgia O' O'Keeffe in this Friends of Southwestern Art Lecture. Von Lintel will be exploring the writings of O’Keeffe penned from Canyon, Texas between 1916 and 1918, especially in light of the war and the American home front. This material comes from her forthcoming book publication, A Voice from the West: Georgia O’Keeffe’s Texas Letters and WWI in America , which will be in print with Texas A&M University Press in Spring 2020.
