Panhandle Plains Invitational Western Art Show and Sale
Foran Galleries
March 1, 2014—March 29, 2014
Artists reception begins at 5:30; sale begins promptly at 6:15 on Saturday, March 1st by invitation only.

This event provides the only museum-quality venue in the Texas Panhandle for contemporary Western artists. This year's theme is Women of the West.

“The Panhandle-Plains Invitational acts as a foil to our historic Southwestern art collection exhibited in flanking galleries, and it provides a vital revenue stream we use for conservation of works in our permanent collection,” said Michael Grauer, Associate Director for Curatorial Affairs and Curator of Art.  All pieces are selected by Grauer in the same manner as he does museum art.
The art prices range from $500 to $5,000. Proceeds from the show and sale are used to buy art for the museum collection and restore pieces acquired by PPHM.

PPI is sponsored by the Friends of Southwestern Art.
