SENSE OF SELF
Back Forward
September 15, 2007 - April 13, 2008

The Sense of Self exhibit will examine "how we know who we are" by focusing on various groups that settled in the Texas Panhandle-Plains region, including Hispanics, African-Americans, Europeans, Middle and Far Easterners, and people from Great Britain, as well as Jews, Muslims, and Mennonites. The exhibit will utilize artifacts, art, food, and other things to discuss gender, marriage, caste, religion, education, vocation, avocation, and other topics relating to the various groups.
