Back Forward
January 19 – August 17, 2008

Using quotes, sound bytes and large, poignant images, visitors will be immersed into historical events, including slavery, the Scopes’ Trial, and the Civil Rights Movement, where the Bible had much influence in forming contemporary political and social environments.
Very little interpretive material will be included in the exhibit, rather scriptures used by people involved in these momentous events, along with their own words, will describe the moods of the times and how they shaped the future of the United States.
